If you are hunting for a massive, commercialized hotel tower right in the middle of a noisy party beach, you need to look elsewhere. But if you want expansive privacy, direct access to winding lagoon pools, and a tropical sanctuary vibe, Lime Resort Bohol might just be the most unique new property on the island.
Officially opened earlier this year as the very first property in Southeast Asia Pacific under the Radisson Individuals Premier brand, this resort steps completely away from the standard hotel layout. Instead of a single high-rise, the property is a collection of multi-story private villas wrapped around stunning, massive swimming pools.
Located in Tangnan, Panglao—far from the crowded Alona Beach strip—it poses a very specific question: is the isolation a drawback, or is it the ultimate peaceful escape? I recently spent a night here to find out.

The Rooms: Inside the Pool Access Villa
Every accommodation at Lime Resort Bohol is a standalone, two-story villa, meaning you never have to worry about hearing your neighbors through thin hotel walls.
During my stay, I was booked into the Pool Access Villa. The layout is brilliant:
- The Ground Floor: Acts as your personal living room, complete with an espresso machine, a fully stocked tea station, and a massive, high-tech bathroom. And when I say massive, the bathtub is practically a plunge pool in itself!
- The Second Floor: This is where the bedroom is located, featuring a plush king-size bed, a second TV, and towering floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

The absolute highlight is the private terrace on the ground floor. You can literally step right out of your living room and into the winding lagoon pool. During my stay, they were running promotional rates for Boholano locals starting at ₱6,000 for the Garden Villas, with the Pool Access Villas sitting around ₱8,000.
(Note: If you have a larger group, ask about their massive 129-sqm Beachfront Villas or the Two-Bedroom Private Pool Villas, which sleep up to six people!)
Food & Dining: Bar Snacks to Massive Breakfasts
Because the resort is somewhat isolated, a solid in-house food program is crucial—and the culinary team here genuinely delivers.
Down by the pool at the Sunset Lounge, they offer excellent mid-day combos perfect for pairing with a cold beer. My personal favorite was the Garlic Chili Potatoes with Fried Cheese Sticks, though the Fried Chicken Basket and the Nachos with Picadillo are huge portions meant for sharing. (They also serve a Tropical Pizza, which, despite my strict Italian roots, I couldn’t stop eating).
Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive. You can hit the main buffet—which features a mountain of bacon, fresh pastries, a live egg station, and classic Filipino staples—or order from their expansive à la carte menu. Their Classic Filipino Breakfast and Farm Feast portions are incredibly generous.

The Vibe & Beachfront Reality
You need to set the right expectations regarding the beach. While the resort sits right on the water and features a beautiful man-made sandy area lined with sunbeds and palm trees, the water directly in front of the resort is rocky and not ideal for swimming.
However, you honestly won’t even miss the ocean. The massive lagoon pools are the true star of the show here. They are clean, winding, and beautifully integrated into the villa architecture.

The Verdict: Is Lime Resort Bohol Worth It?
If you are looking for loud nightlife or want to walk to fifty different restaurants, this isn’t the spot for you. But if you want pure, uninterrupted silence, massive high-tech villas, and incredible pool access right from your balcony, Lime Resort Bohol is a fantastic luxury escape. It is particularly perfect for couples seeking privacy or families who want to spend all day splashing in the lagoon pools.
