A New Spiritual Home: Holy Name University Inaugurates the Church of the Immaculate Spouse of the Holy Spirit

Some truly wonderful and blessed news from the Holy Name University (HNU) family, the school I am proud to work with. This week, the campus officially inaugurated its beautiful new church, dedicated to the Immaculate Spouse of the Holy Spirit.

This inauguration is a significant milestone for the entire HNU community. A university campus is more than just classrooms and offices; it’s a place where students and faculty grow, learn, and build their lives. This new church now stands as a spiritual heart on campus, a sanctuary for quiet prayer, reflection, and community worship.

What’s especially wonderful for everyone here is that the church will be a fully active part of campus life. It will be offering both daily masses and Sunday masses. This is a huge blessing for the students (especially those living in dorms) and the faculty, providing an accessible and convenient place for the community to gather in faith, right here where they study and work.

As a member of the HNU community, it’s inspiring to see this beautiful new space officially open its doors. Congratulations to the entire HNU family on this historic and blessed achievement!
